Abstract

1442727 Hinges with adjustable mountings PAUL HETTICH & CO 15 Aug 1974 [21 Aug 1973] 36008/74 Heading E2F In a hinge of the type in which a hinge arm 2a is mounted on one mounting member 5a and is pivotally linked (e.g. by link arms 3, 4) to another mounting member 1, an intermediate member 8a is slidable on the member 5a and pivoted about pin 10 to the hinge arm; the hinge arm being movable about the axis of pin 10 by an adjusting screw 17a, being slidable along pin 10 to a degree controlled by adjusting screw 15a, and being slidable on the member 5a when a locking screw 9a is adjusted to free the member 8a. As shown the member 5a has a T-shaped projection which is engaged by the member 8a, and the screw 17a lies between the screws 15a and 9a; however in a modification (Figs. 1-6 not shown) it is the member 8a that has the T-shaped projection and the screws 15a and 17a are interchanged so that 15a lies between 17a and 19a.
