922,087. Stays. A.V.R. ACHAT, VENTES, REPRESENTATIONS S.A. July 27, 1959 [Jan. 12, 1959], No. 25607/59. Class 65(1). Between a fixed frame 1 and a hinged panel 2, at least one of which is made of semi-tubular section material, is fitted a stay 22 one end 21 of which is pivoted to a slide 7 (Figs. 3, 6) movable along the hollow 3 of a part of either the frame or the panel formed with internal flanges 4, 5 and the other end 23 of which is provided with a pivot 24 (Fig. 4) having at one end a radial pin 27 which can pass through a notch 28 (Fig. 1) formed in the edge of the hole 25 into which the pivot fits, means being provided for locking the slide in a position of adjustment. The locking means comprises a screw 13 screwed into the slide and having a head 14 which can be turned by a lever 15 to clamp the flanges 4, 5 between the head and the slide, a friction washer 16 being provided. The stay is completely concealed between the frame and the panel when the latter is in its closed position. Specification 369,347 is referred to.
