A door fastening device comprises a pivoted bolt formed with a hook 11 and a handle 5, the bolt pivoting on a pin 7, which is housed in guides 8 on the door 1 so that the distance between the pivot pin and the door is adjustable by means of a set screw 9. The hook 11 engages a fixed pin 12 in the fastened position of the bolt.
