Abstract
142,097. Saussard, L. April 19, 1919, [Convention date]. Combined fixed and moving cylinder pumps; reciprocating-cylinder pumps.-A pump for lubricating &c. comprises an outer fixed casing 1, and a reciprocating hollow rectangular piston 2 inside which a second rectangular piston 3 is reciprocated by an eccentric 5 in a direction transverse to the direction of movement of the piston 2. The piston 2 has two ports 6, 7. The piston 3 has ports 8, 9, 10, 11, and channels 16, 15 in the eccentric connect the ports in the piston with the inlet 14, and the outlet 12 respectively. In a modification, two delivery ports are provided. The eccentric and the pistons are of equal thickness in the direction of the axis of the eccentric.
