Abstract

701,722. Reciprocating pumps. FARVAL CORPORATION. Jan. 25, 1952 [June 30, 1951], No. 2152/52. Class 102 (1). [Also in Groups XXIX and XXXIV] A pump 1 for pumping lubricant to pressure lines in a lubricating system (see Group XXXIV) comprises two pistons 26, 27 adapted to be reciprocated by oscillation of a pinion 28 through a lever 29. The cylinders for the pistons communicate with the lubricant reservoir through inlet ports 30, 31. Each piston during the compression stroke causes a shuttle piston 32 to be displaced whereby the cylinder under pressure is connected with a discharge line 4.
