Abstract

1315598 Lined cartons ELBATAINER KUNSTSTOFF - UND VERPACKUNGS GmbH & CO 28 May 1971 [22 June 1970] 17886/71 Heading B8P A carton for liquid, pasty or powdery material has a paper, plastics or metal foil liner surrounded by a stiffening carton 22 and inserted in an outer cardboard carton 10. The liner has a screwed filling cap 30, and slits 31 in the carton 22 facilitate opening out of the flattened liner. Creases 29 in the centre of two walls of the carton 22 enable the carton to be folded flat about those creases and so protect the corners 23 formed when the liner is filled. When used for granular or powdery material the cap 30 is dispensed with and the liner top is initially left open and is closed after filling. (For Figure see next column.)
