A package for foodstuffs &c. comprises an outer container 10 of cardboard or the like, and an inner container 11 of thinner liquid- and gastight material, e.g. plastics, to which inner container is hinged a reclosable lid 12 of the same material. An aluminium, plastics &c. foil 18 may be inserted beneath the lid.
