Abstract

1291287 Knitting-machines; cams ELITEXZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI 24 Dec 1969 [28 Dec 1968] 62959/69 Heading D1C Stitch cam 32 and compensating cam 36 are mounted on a slider 34 secured to a holder 37 movable vertically in relation to a carrier 23. The carrier is movable towards and away from the needle cylinder in a guide way 24, and is urged by a spring (26, Fig. 4 not shown). The carrier bears a pivoted lever 31 the end of which supports a screw 40 attached to the holder. The lever is raised to lift the holder and cams by turning a screw 18, housed in a non-rotatable sleeve 20, under control of the pattern drum. An adjustable set-screw (41, Fig. 4) bears against a pin (29) secured in the carrier to determine the basic cam position.
