1401912 Knitting-machines WILDT MELLOR BROMLEY Ltd 29 Nov 1973 [16 Jan 1973] 2169/73 Heading D1C A yarn float controller 14 is mounted on a pin 10 on the yarn guide plate 8, and is urged by a spring 16, so that the end 20a of arm 20 engages the yarn Y. The controller is of inverted channel form with spaced tail portions slotted to engage pin 10. The end 20a is notched. The plate 8 is attached to the dial cam plate of a cylinder and dial machine.
