Abstract

1,126,458. Knitting-machines. KARL MAYER TEXTILMASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. 18 Aug., 1967 [26 Aug., 1966], No. 38185/67. Heading D1C. The yarn guide bar shogging levers I of a warp machine are each pivoted on an eccentric sleeve 10 or stud 9 which is manipulated by a cam 13 on the cam shaft to effect movement of the lever additional to the movement imparted by the pattern chain 8 of the machine. Some of the shogging levers I may be so eccentrically pivoted whilst others may be mounted on a stationary pivot or unaffected by the eccentricity of the first levers so that the first set of levers are influenced by the pattern chain and cam on the cam shaft whilst the other levers are influenced by the pattern chain only.
