Abstract

892,689. Knitting-machines. MAYER ERSTE HESSISCHE WIRKMASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H., KARL. March 18, 1960 [March 21, 1959], No. 9727/60. Class 74 (2). The needle bar of a warp machine is actuated by a pivoted lever 33 which is oscillated by two articulated levers 36, 37, the upper lever 36 being secured to the end of lever 33 and the lower lever 37 being pivotally secured at its lower end as at 39. The lever 37 also carries a pair of cam followers 43, 43a which engage an annular cam 44 eccentrically mounted in a housing 1 so as to deflect the levers 36, 37 from one extreme position to another whereby the needles are caused to operate. The sinkers and yarn guides are actuated through linkage from cams in the drive housing 1.
