The roller 4 is capable of being adjustably positioned along the side 10 of the lever 1 controlling the guide bar of a warp knitting machine so that the movement of the lever caused by the pattern chain 5 passing over drum 6 can be suitably varied. The pattern chain drum 6 can also be adjustably positioned with horizontally or vertically or both.
