1396974 Knitting machines INSTITUT FUR TEXTILMASCHINEN 22 Nov 1972 53928/72 Heading D1C A compound needle stitch-bonding machine includes a counter-holding comb 5 and a guiding comb 6 intermeshing with one another, the needle hooks closing just before the knocking-over plane 10. The combs 5, 6 comprise plates 5b, 6a mounted on pars 5a, 6b which are adjustable both vertically and horizontally. The fibres or yarns are fed to the consolidating zone above the combs by a conveyor and guided by a plate 7. The fibres may be loosened by oscillating plates 11a.
