Abstract

773,428. Knitting- machines. FIBHA AKT.- GES. April 12, 1955 [April 13, 1954], No. 10491/55. Class 74 (2). A hand knitting-machine having a comb 4 about which the needles draw their loops, has guide means 6, 7, 18 for drawing the loops downwardly against the comb and for holding the loops during the clearing of the needles. The guide means comprises a plate 18 having a guide cam 6, 7 resiliently mounted at each end of it, the plate 18 being recessed in the centre so as not to engage the loops during the actual drawing of the loops by the needles. The guide means are attached to the cam box 2 of the machine so as to reciprocate with it.
