803,204. Knitting-machines. KOCHHEIM, G. March 8, 1956 [April 28, 1955; Dec. 7, 1955], No. 7345/56. Class 74 (2). A hand-operated flat machine having pivoted sinkers 7 controlled by springs 18 and a cam 21 on the cam carriage, has a second needle bed which can be attached to the support for the first and which has slidable needles 25 operated by a cam carriage independent of the cam carriage for the first bed and which needles 25 are resiliently supported in their grooves by springs 32. Plain or rib fabric can be produced on the machine.
