Abstract

1,133,027. Knitting-machines. K A R L MAYER TEXTIL MASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. 8 June, 1967 [14 June, 1966], No. 26517/67. Heading D1C. In a Raschel warp machine in which the needles 1 move both vertically and in a direction 3 perpendicular to their length, a point bar 7 for forming pile loops moves perpendicular to the needles in a direction 17 and is synchronized with the needle movement. The bar is supported by a bearing 9 and oscillated vertically by cam 13. Movement in direction 17 is caused by a pivoted bell arm lever 18 oscillated by a slide 20.
