Spray carburettors.-The jet a delivers fuel into a chamber e which communicates at different levels with a source of air, other than the main air passage, through conduits b, c. The lower conduit b is of fixed capacity, whereas the upper conduit c, which delivers into an annular chamber d, communicating with the chamber e through holes f, is of variable capacity. The jet a may be submerged.
