The cylindrical face of the cupleather G is forced centrifugally against the boss E' on the casing. The hat-leather washers K, M, are held between the flange E<3>, the loose sleeve L and the plate N which, with the ball-bearing J, is held in place by the cap E<2>. In a modification, the hat-leather M is replaced by a washer of T- section. The pump may be driven by an airdriven screw C, or from an engine shaft.
