Abstract

141,467. Bush, P. F. W. Feb. 28, 1919. Pumping-machines.-A pumping-machine for pumping petrol &c. comprises a centrifugal impeller 1 and an electromotor 4 mounted on a hollow shaft 2 in a common casing 6, the liquid to be pumped being drawn mainly through the shaft and holes 8 therein, and partly through the casing by way of the ball bearing 16 and a clearance 10. The stator 5 of the electromotor may be arranged outside the casing 6.
