Abstract

1,124,006. Spray carburetters. HONDA GIJUTSU KENKYUSHO, K. K. Feb. 18, 1966 [Feb.20, 1965], No. 6889/66. Heading F1B. [Also in Division G3 ] A suction actuated piston 7 is situated at the throat of a Venturi 3 and controls a fuel metering needle 21. At a predetermined suction at the Venturi throat, transmitted through port 18 to operate diaphragm 12, the piston 7 moves to throttle the throat 3 and limit engine speed. A passage 30 situated near the throttle valve 4 provides suction to operate the piston 7 to throttle the passage 3 during over-running. The passage 18 may be omitted and replaced by the passage 30 situated nearer the Venturi throat.
