Abstract

1,077,476. Spray carburetters. SOCIETE INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES S.I.B.E. Sept. 8, 1965 [Oct. 12, 1964], No. 38383/65. Heading F1B. A metering orifice 6 controlled by a needle 4 is formed in a disc 5 which is reduced in thickness adjacent the orifice 6. The edge of orifice 6 has a thickness less than 0À5 mm whilst the outer edge of the disc is at least 1À5 mm thick. The carburetter is of the constant reaction construction described in Specification 949, 666 and 993, 825, the needle 4 being carried by a suction actuated piston 3, Fig. 1 (not shown) and the metered fuel delivered by a pump 22 to nozzles adjacent the intake valves. The disc 5 is clamped in position against a seating ring 26 by a severed sleeve 25.
