Abstract

1,092,336. Liquid containers; plastics bags. ANGOVES PROPRIETARY Ltd. April 20, 1965 [April 20, 1964], No. 16637/65. Headings B8K and B8P. A container for liquids comprises an outer cardboard shell 20 and a one-piece fluid-tight plastics bag 2 with a neck 3. The bag 2 is made from a tube of plastics material and the base is closed by four welds 9-(12), Fig. 8 (not shown), so that the bag has a flat square base when filled with liquid. The neck 3 of the bag is also formed by welds 5-(8), Fig. 6 (not shown). The carton 20 forms a rigid support for the bag. The neck of the bag may be sealed after filling and folded inside the carton and the flaps 21 folded inwards. The bag may be laminated and is preferably made of polythene.
