Abstract

1,084,488. Baking trays. METAL BOX CO. Ltd. May 27, 1966, No. 23836/66. Heading A4D. A baking tray made of cardboard or similar material foil-lined, at least on the side which is to form the interior of the tray, comprises a bottom 1, side walls 2, 3, and end walls 4, 5, which are upstanding from the bottom, being folded upwards about scores or creases 6, 7, 8, 9, Fig. 1, 'the side and end walls being retained in the upright position by end flaps 10, 11 which extend from the side and end walls respectively and are connected by scores or creases 12, the flaps 10 being secured in the upright position, one to another, e.g. by interlocking, the flaps 10 being provided with slits 15 for this purpose. The tray may be provided with top flaps 16, 17 and may also be provided with tray collapsing scores or creases 18 to permit the tray to be collapsed for storage or transport. In a modification the top flaps 16 and 17 are omitted.
