481,773. Folding cardboard &c. boxes. MARKS & SPENCER, Ltd., and SHENFIELD, J. A. Dec. 23, 1936, No. 35274. [Class 18] A rectangular cardboard, strawboard, &c. box of the kind which is collapsable without disjointing, is made from the blank shown in Fig. 4 and is assembled as shown in Fig. 2. For collapsing, rear wall members are folded about lines 6 and side walls about lines 7. Side flaps 11 engage within the mouth of the container with sufficient friction to make them self-locking. There may be only one rear wall member, this being creased for folding. When the height of the sides 3 is greater than half the width of the container, the upper corners of wings 5 are removed to facilitate folding. Specification 249,436, [Class 18], is referred to.
