A cardboard or like container is held in its erected position by means of headed tongues 10 engaging in slots 11, the ears 14 of the tongue being folded along lines 12 if desired. The tongues may project from flaps 7, 9 as shown in Fig. 1 or from one side as shown in Fig. 4.
