Abstract

The corners (9) are extended above the tray ends (8) to locate accurately the tray stacked immediately above which then rests on interior fold (14) which doubles the tray end (8). The sides (6) have cut-outs (10) to allow air circulation which is also ensured between stacks by the outward sloping stray sides and ends which ensure that only the top edges of the corners of adjacent trays come into contact. The tray ends are formed by double folding end flaps so that they enclose the flaps on the ends of the side walls. The sides of the end flaps extend around the tray corners to form stiffening pillars.
