Abstract

The tray is made from a single sheet, the bottom (21) having sides (7, 8) attached to its longer sides with extension flaps (10, 11, 12, 13) which are folded round the ends of the tray. The other two sides (1, 2) have extensions (3, 4, 5 6) which are long enough to form triangular section reinforcements in the corners. Triangular pieces can be placed in the opening to increase the strength. The sides are shaped so that a gap (18) and a corresponding protrusion (20) can be used to prevent relative movement between stacked boxes. A corner piece can be passed vertically through the triangular opening, assembling several boxes together.
