1,023,130. Overhead travelling cranes. SOC. NAZIONALE DELLE OFFICINE DI SAVIGLIANO. Nov. 9, 1964 [Feb. 22, 1964], No. 45678/64. Heading B8B. The main girder 1 of a single girder travelling crane is attached to the perpendicular side girders carrying wheels 4 by pins 5 which are fixed to the end girders and fit without play into sleeves in the main girder. Flanges 7 on the pins are welded to the girders 2. Enlarged portions 8 of the pins engage recesses in the sleeves and accurately locate the parts. Nuts 11 clamp the parts together but other means, e.g. pins or wedges may be provided.
