Abstract

An overhead travelling crane for handling casting ladles has a trolley composed of beams 6-10 which support crabs 11, 12. The crabs run on rails on the beams 6, 7, 8, and the trolley runs on rails at right-angles thereto. The crab 11 supports full ladles and the crab 12 supports empty ladles.
