Abstract

1,022,146. Reclosable cartons. UNILEVER Ltd. Jan. 10, 1964 [Jan. 11, 1963], No. 1173/64. Heading B8P. A reclosable dispensing carton formed from the blank of Fig. 1 (not shown) has a tab 27 defined by lines of weakening, adhesively secured to a flap 23 which when pulled disengages the tab 27 to leave a finger grip aperture for pulling back the hinged closure 33. A portion I7b adjacent a line of weakening has no adhesive applied thereto and hence leaves a support together with a portion 18a of the front flap 18 for the closed hinged closure, said support engaging with a slit 25 when the flap 23 engages behind the front wall 13. The shaded area 31 is coated with adhesive repellent ink except for spots 32, these spots lightly securing flap 23 to the front wall 13. The back of the hinged closure is defined by a fold line and a weakened line.
