1,112,475. Boxes. SPRINTER-PACK A.B. 22 Sept., 1966 [30 Sept., 1965], No. 42419/66. Heading B8P. A parallelepipedic cardboard box, formed from a blank, Fig. 1, having front walls 10, 11 and side walls 12, 14, has its end walls formed by overlapping flaps 15, 20 and 16, 19, a lock tongue 21 and a tongue 24 formed by an incision 22 on the overlying flap 20, 19 being inserted into slots 18 and 17, respectively, in the underlying flap 15, 16; further incisions 25 in the overlying flap 20 facilitate tear opening of the box, after opening of which is reclosed by turning the flap 15 over the remaining portion (20a), (Fig. 6, not shown), of the flap 20 and guiding side tabs 27, 28 along the insides of the side walls 12, 14. Tabs 26 at the ends of the flap 20 may facilitate the tearing operation.
