942,080. Cartons. PROCTER & GAMBLE Ltd. Jan. 3, 1962 [Jan. 9, 1961], No. 938/61. Heading B8P. One end of a carton of fibrous sheet material initially closed by flaps 21, 23, formed by the extension of opposite sides and secured together by adhesive, e.g. in spaced spots 43 is opened by pulling a tab 40 on flap 23 and may be reclosed by engaging tab 40 on a slit 30 in flap 24. As shown, further flaps 22, 24 are provided on the remaining two sides and the other end is closed by flaps 11 and 13 folded inwardly over flaps 12 and 14 already folded and all secured together by adhesive. Slit 30 is part of a slit system 30, 31, 32, 34 forming readily bendable areas 33, 35 and flap 23 is slightly wider than the distance between slit 30 and edge 42 to facilitate the insertion of tab 40.
