951,874. Tamper-proof, reclosable cartons. AMERICAN CAN CO. Sept. 10, 1962, No. 34531/62. Heading B8P. A tamper-proof reclosable carton having a tear strip is made from a single blank, as in Fig. 1, by superposing panel 40 and flaps 45 on front panel 44 and flaps 49 by adhesive on surfaces 40c and 45c and closing each end by folding up flap 48, adhering flap 47 on flap 49 and then adhering flap 46 at 46a on to portion 45a and flap 47. A tear strip made by perforated lines 19 and 20 on the panel 40 and flaps 45, and lines 22 and 23 on flaps 46, is grasped at the end portion 45b, visible through a hole 30 in flap 46 and pulled outward toward panel 44 to open the carton.
