To close a tubular carton, the end parts of two opposite walls 2 are folded inwardly along crease lines 9, 6, and an extension 10 of another wall 3 is tucked between parts 8 of the walls 2 and the end part of the fourth wall 4, a tab 12 on the wall 4 then being engaged in a slit 11 in the extension 10. Both ends of the carton may have such a closure or one end may be closed in known manner. Specifications 473,897, 529,201, 657,034 and 676,531 are referred to.
