Abstract

Procédé de contrôle de l'état de fonctionnement d'un catalyseur (14) d'effluents gazeux. d'une ligne d'échappement (13) dans un moteur à combustion interne (1) à allumage commandé dans lequel, lors de la décélération du véhicule, on contrôle le moteur, on augmente la pression du collecteur d'admission à celle du ralenti, on calcule la quantité d'oxygène cumulée dans le catalyseur (14) jusqu'à la fin de la décélération, ou lance une intrusivité sur une richesse d'environ 1.05 pour vider le catalyseur d'oxygène, on calcule la capacité de stockage d'oxygène du catalyseur (14) entre le début de la phase riche et le basculement de l'état pauvre à l'état riche, et on déclare le catalyseur conforme lorsque la valeur calculée de la capacité de stockage d'oxygène est supérieure à un seuil.
