Abstract

Câble métallique comportant un toron central autour duquel est câblée au moins une couche de torons et dans lequel, lorsque ce câble comporte plusieurs couches de torons, les torons de différentes couches sont parallèles entre eux tandis que lorsque ces torons sont composés de plusieurs couches les fils de différentes couches de fil sont eux aussi parallèles entre eux. Selon l'invention, les torons d'au moins deux couches successives de torons (le toron central ou âme étant considéré comme couche de base) présentent une surface lisse. Application : câbles métalliques de levage.
