Abstract
999,424. Cables. GENERAL CABLE CORPORATION. March 6, 1962 [Sept. 18, 1961], No. 8591/62. Heading H1A. In a concentrically stranded wire cable conductor the wires are of half-hard temper and are insulated from each other by cured polyurethane enamel. Some of the wires of the outer layer may be bare and these may be of aluminium, copper coated with tin or copper coated with a lead-tin alloy. A method of manufacturing such a cable is described.
