Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'impression thermique ou par résistance électrique. Il comporte une tête d'impression constituée par des électrodes en forme de fils supportés par une bande allongée de matière plastique. Les matières de la tête sont choisies de manière que la vitesse d'usure par frottement soit supérieure à la vitesse d'usure due à l'échauffement par le passage d'un courant électrique. L'impression peut se faire sur un papier ordinaire en plaçant entre le papier et la tête d'impression une mince pellicule portant une couche d'encre transférable thermiquement. Application aux imprimantes.
