Claims (4)
1. Förfarande för framställning av en väsentligen (^95 %) 5 optiskt ren, farmaceutiskt godtagbar (5R,6S,1'R)-penem-förening med formeln (I) V ^C0 R 0 2 i vilken R betecknar väteatom eller nägon av de följande 15 förestrande grupperna a) acyloximetyl eller 1-(acyloxi)etyl, där acyl betyder raka eller förgrenade C2-Cl0-alkanoyl- eller C4-C8-cykloal-kanoylgrupper; 20 b) bensoyloximetyl eller l-(bensoyloxi)etyl, som är an-tingen osubstituerad eller substituerad i ringen med en fri, metylerad eller acetylerad hydroxi- eller amino-grupp; 25 c) alkoxikarbonyloximetyl eller l-(alkoxikarbonyloxi)e-tyl; d) 3-ftalidyl; 30 e) 2-oxo-l,3-dioxolan-4-yl, som eventuellt är substituerad med en Cj-C^-alkylgrupp vid 5-positionen; f) (2-oxo-l,3-dioxolen-4-yl)metyl, som eventuellt är 35 substituerad med en fenyl- eller C1-C4-alkylgrupp vid 5-positionen; 28 89 490 g) gruppen CH2C02R', i vilken R' är en rak eller förgrenad C1-C4-alkyl eller bensyl, eller h) 2-oxotetrahydrofuran-5-yl, som eventuellt är substi-5 tuerad med en C1-C4-alkylgrupp vid 4-positionen, och dess farmaceutiskt godtagbara salter, k ä n n e -t e c k n a t därav, att en förening med formeln (III) 10 0PH —Τ'5';"" och3 (III) 0^“N Y*

3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-5 n a t därav, att penem-föreningen enligt formeln (I) är (2-oxo-l,3-dioxolen-4-yl)metyl-6-(1-hydroxietyl)-2-meto-ximetyl-penem-3-karboxylat.
