Formaldehydi bindande komposition, som används i vid framstäl1ning av lignocellulosamaterialbaserade skivor 5 använda formaldehydbaserade limmer, vilken komposition är en vattenlösning bestiende av (a) ätminstone en organisk hydroxiförening valda bland tvä-värda ooh trevärda alkoholer, vilka innehiller högst 20 kolatomer, pentaerytritol, sorbitol, högst 6 kolatomer 10 innehällande monosackarider, högst 12 kolatomer innehallande disackarider och deras blandningar, och (b) ätminstone en amid, och eventuellt (c) en organisk förening, som fungerar som lösnings-medel för (a) och (b) och ocksä reagerar med formalde- 15 hyd, och/eller (d) en vattenlöslig oorganisk förening, kännetecknad därav, att kompositionen därtill innehal1er (x) 0,01 - 5,00 vikt-% ammoniak eller nägon svag syras 20 ammoniumsalt eller deras blandningar och (y) 0,01 - 5,00 vikt-% stark syra eller en stark syra fri-görande ämne eller deras blandning, varvid komponenternas (a) samt (c) och (d), om närvarande, viktförhällande tili _ komponenten (b) är 20:100 - 400:100. 2. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknad därav, att komponenten (a) är monoety1englykol, diety1englykol, polyetylenglykol, glycerol, pentaerytritol, fruktos, mannos, dextros, sackaros, 30 maltos och/eller laktos.
3. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att komponenten (b) är en 1 - 6 kolatomer innehillande alifatiska amider .35 och en bensenring innehallande aromatiska amider, före- trädesvis urea, tiourea, formamid, acetamid, bensamid, is S7362 oxamid, suckinamid, malonamid, guanidin, biuret, dicyanamid eller deras blandningar.
4. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patent-5 kraven 1-3, kännetecknad därav, att kompo- nenten (x) är ammoniumkarbonat, ammoniumbikarbonat, ammo-niumsulfamat, ammoniumacetat eller ammoniumkarbamat.
5. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patent-10 kraven 1-4, kännetecknad därav, att kompo- nenten (y) är klorvätesyra, ammoniumklorid, svavelsyra, ammoniumsulfat, myrsyra eller ammoniumformiat.
6. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patent-15 kraven 1-5, kännetecknad därav, att den organiska föreningen (c) företrädesvis är en C^_4 alifatisk envärd alkohol, som fungerar som 1ösningsmedel för kompo-nenterna (a) och (b) och ocksä reagerar med formaldehyd.
7. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patent- kraven 1-6, kännetecknad därav, att den i vatten lösliga oorganiska föreningen (d) är natriumklorid, kaliumklorid eller kalciumklorid. :25
8. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patent- kraven 1-7, kännetecknad därav, att den innehäller 20 - 80 vikt-% av komponenten (a) plus komponen-terna (b), (x) och (y) och därtill av komponenterna (c) och (d), sävida de är närvarande. 30
9. Formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patent-kraven 1-8, kännetecknad därav, att den innehäller 0,03 - 3,00 vikt-% av komponenten (x) och 0,03 -3,00 vikt-% av komponenten (y). 3 5

Förfarande för framstä11ning av en formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av föregäende patentkrav, k ä n - 19 87362 netecknat därav, att vid en temperatur av fran rumstemperatur till 70oc blandas vatten och (a) ätminstone en organisk hydroxiförening, som är en tvävärd, trevärd alkohol, som innehäller högst 20 kolato- 5 raer, pentaerytritol, sorbitol, en högst 6 kolatomer inne-hällande monosackarid, högst 12 kolatomer innehällande dis-ackarid eller deras blandningar, (b) ätminstone en amid, och eventuellt (c) en organisk förening, som fungerar som lösnings- 10 medel för (a) och (b) och ocksä reagerar med formalde- hyd, och/eller (d) en vattenlöslig oorganisk förening, (x) ammoniak eller nägon svag syras ammoniumsalt eller deras blandning och 15 (y) en stark syra eller ett en stark syra frigörande ämne eller deras blandning.
11. Användningen av en formaldehyd bindande komposition enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-9 för framställning av 20 skivor av 1ignocellulosamaterial, där kompositionen till-sätts ett formaldehydbaserat lim sä, att den ersätter en motsvarande viktmängd lim.
