Claims (3)
1. Förfarande för framställning av ett glykopeptid-antibiotikum, vilket är antibiotikumet A/16686 som en fri bas eller ett farmaceutisk acceptabelt syra-additionssalt därav och vilket i form av dess hydro-klorid uppvisar följande kännetecken: A) ett vitt kristalliniskt ämne, vilket smälter i 224-226°C; B) väl löslig i vatten och dimetylformamid; löslig i metanol, etano] propanol och butanol; men olöslig i etyleter, petroleter och bensen; C) ungefärlig elementarkomposition: 51,73 % koi; 6,3»+ % väte, 9,96 % kväve, 5,84 % klor (totalhalt), 4,74 % klor-joner och 1 % rest; D) infrarött-absorptionsspektrum i nujol med följande observerbara absorptionsmaximivärden; (se fig. 1): 3290-3070, 2930 och 2860 (nujol), 1765, 1630, 1510, 1455, 1375 (nujol), 1230, 1175, 1130, 1065, 1030, 1015, 980, 840 och 820 cm"1; E) ultraviolett absorptionsspektrum med följande absorptionsmaximivärden (se fig. 2): a) i metanol: 232 nm (E1^ = 178) 265 nm (E1' = 107) b) i metanol, vilken innehäller 0,1 N HC1: 231 nm (E1^ = 167) 270 nm (E^' s 96) c) i metanol, vilken innehäller 0,1 N NaOH: 250 nm (E1^ = 232) 295 nm (skuldra) d) i metanol, vilken innehäller buffert pH 7,38: 231 nm (E1% = 167) icm 270 nm (E1^ = 96) F) specifik vridning jV] s + 49,7° (c s 0,43 % i IMF) G) följande karakteristiska reaktioner: ninhydrin (3 % etanolisk lösning) negativ ninhydrin (3 % etanolisk lösning + natriumacetat) positiv
