Claims (14)

1. Som herbicid och tillväxtregulator för växter användbart natriumsalt av N-fosfonometylglycin/ kännetecknat därav, att molförhällandet natriumkatjon tili syraanjon är väsent-ligen 1,5:1.
2. Salt enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att det är i tetrahydratform.
3. Som herbicid och tillväxtregulator för växter användbar komposition, kännetecknad därav, att den omfattar en effektiv mängd av ett natriumsalt av N-fosfonometylglycin, varvid molförhällandet natriumkatjon tili syraanjon är väsentligen 1,5:1, och ätminstone ett hjälpämne.
4. Komposition enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknad därav, att hjälpämnet omfattar ca 0,5- ca 20,0 viktdelar av ett ytaktivt medel.
5. Komposition enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknad därav, att hjälpämnet omfattar ca 3 - ca 95 viktdelar av en inert bärare eller dito utdrygningsmedel.
6. Komposition enligt patentkravet 4, kännetecknad därav, att hjälpämnet omfattar ca 3 - ca 95 viktdelar av en inert bärare eller dito utdrygningsmedel.
7. Herbicidalt förfarande, kännetecknat därav, att en växt kontaktas med en herbicidalt effektiv mängd av ett natriumsalt av N-fosfonometylglycin, varvid molförhällandet natriumkatjon tili syraanjon är väsentligen 1,5:1.
8. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 7,kännetecknat därav, att nämnda mängd är ca 0,28 - ca 22,4 kg/ha.
9. Förfarande för ökning av sackaroshalten i sockerrör, kännetecknat därav, att pä sockerröret anbringas en effektiv mängd av ett natriumsalt av N-fosfonometylglycin, varvid molförhällandet natriumkatjon tili syraanjon är väsentligen 1,5:1.
10. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 9,kännetecknat därav, att nämnda mängd är ca 0,112 - ca 5,6 kg/ha.
11. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 9, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda sait anbringas pä sockerröret ca 2 - ca 12 veckor före skörden.
