Abstract

Conform prezentei inventii, procedeul pentru prepararea unei sari de sodiu a N-fosfonometilglicinei, în care raportul molar între cationul de sodiu si anion reprezinta între 1,5 si 1, este caracterizat prin aceea ca, în scopul obtinerii unui complex cristalizat continînd amestecul sarurilor mono si disodice, N-fosfonometilglicina se neutralizeaza cu o solutie apoasa alcalina cu continut de sodiu, aleasa dintre hidroxid, carbonat, bicarbonat, sulfit, bisulfit, sulfura, formiat, acetat, silicat, cantitatea de baza fiind astfel aleasa încît sa reprezinte între 1,25 si 1,75 mol sodiu/mol, N-fosfonometilglicina, eventual amestecul de reactie se încalzeste pentru îndepartarea produselor secundare nedorite si apoi se usuca sarea de sodiu obtinuta.
