Claims (10)

1. Förfarande för oxidering av en aromatisk före-ning under användning av kväveoxidul genom att bringa en 5 fast katalysator i kontakt med en gasformig blandning av den aromatiska föreningen och ett molärt underskott av kväveoxidul.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, känneteck-nat av att kväveoxidulens och den aromatiska föreningens 10 molförhällande är inom omrädet 0,9-0,01.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, känneteck-n a t av att den aromatiska föreningen är bensen eller sub-stituerat bensen.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, känneteck-15 n at av att nämnda katalysator är en zeolit.
