Abstract

Procedimiento para recuperar contenido de titanio de una fuente que lleva titanio, que contiene otros contenidos de metal, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento las etapas de: (a) someter una primera fuente que lleva titanio a tostación reductora, a una temperatura elevada; (b) lixiviar la fuente reducida resultante, con una fuente de cloruro de hidrógeno, en una zona de lixiviación; (c) oxidar una segunda fuente que lleva titanio que contiene cantidades valiosas de hierro para convertir el contenido de hierro en ella en óxido de hierro; (d) precipitar dicha fuente lixiviada que lleva titanio, por contacto con al menos una porción de dicha fuente oxidada que contiene óxidos de hierro; (e) separar y recuperar el contenido de titanio precipitado, de las fuentes de metal solubles; (f) tratar dicha fuente de metal soluble, para recuperar otros contenidos de metal y formar fuentes de cloruro de hidrógeno; y (g) recircular dicha fuente de cloruro de hidrógeno a dicha zona de lixiviación.
