Abstract

Un procedimiento de recuperación de cantidades valiosas de titanio a partir de una fuente que lleva titanio, que comprende someter dicha fuente que contiene titanio a una tostación reductora, después de lo cual se somete a lixiviación la fuente reducida con una fuente de cloruro de hidrógeno en una zona de lixiviación, precipitar la fuente que contiene titanio lixiviada, en una zona de precipitación, por contacto con un óxido metálico en el que el metal se encuentra presente en un estado altamente oxidado, separar y recuperar el dióxido de titanio precipitado resultante, tratar el líquido agotado para formar y recircular a dicha zona de precipitación.
