Abstract
Un procedimiento para la extracción de níquel de un mineral laterítico pre-reducido que contiene níquel y hierro, cuyo procedimiento consiste en poner en contacto el mineral pre-reducido con un baño acuoso lixiviador de ácido sulfúrico que contiene inicialmente, o en el que se introduce, mientras el mineral y el baño están en contacto, un peroxidante seleccionado entre ácido peroximonosulfúrico y peróxido de hidrógeno.
