Abstract

Un sistema de comunicaciones de datos por paquetes conmutados que comprende: - elementos para recibir la información del mensaje desde una o más fuentes de mensaje; - elementos para subdividir dicha información de mensaje desde cada una de dichas fuentes de mensaje en diferentes paquetes de datos, cada uno de los cuales incluye, por lo menos una parte de dicha información del mensaje; - elementos para transmitir independientemente dichos paquetes a través del sistema de comunicaciones que incluye una red de un conjunto de nodos de conmutación para almacenar y enviar selectivamente dichos paquetes por la red de acuerdo con la información contenida en dichos paquetes; y - elementos de proceso para almacenar dichos paquetes de datos para su reensamble en la mencionada información de paquete.
