Abstract
A constant flow air diffuser mounted in a wall opening to admit fresh air to a building comprises a deflector plate 2 and a flexible plastics flap 5 hanging from a wall 4 immediately upstream of diffuser plates 3 which produce controlled deformation of the flap 3 in the event of increased wind pressure. The lower edge of the flap is below the upper edge of the plate 2 to produce an upward air flow from the diffuser. The flap may be provided with an extra-mass along its lower edge.
