PURPOSE:To effect the temperature regulation of a room efficiently by a method wherein a ventilating hole, communicating with the room, and an air discharging hole, communicating with the outdoors, are provided on a duct communicating with the rear space of a roofing, so that they may be opened and closed freely. CONSTITUTION:The ventialting device 2, arranged along the wall of a house 1, is consisting of the duct 7, communicating with the rear space 5 of the roofing through an opening 6, a fan 9 equipped in the duct 7, the ventilating holes 11, 12, provided above the fan 9 near the opening 6 and below the fan 9, the air discharging hole 14, provided near the ventilating hole 12 and communicating with the outdoors 13, and dampers 15, 16 opening and closing the ventilating hole 12 and the air discharging hole 14 alternately, while a vent hole 20 communicating with the room is provided at a ceiling 4. When the room temperature is to be risen, the ventilating holes 11, 14 are closed by the dampers 15, 16 as shown by the diagram, and air is flowed as shown by arrow signs. When the room temperature is not risen, the damper 15 closes the ventilating holes 11, 12 while the opening 6 and the ventilating hole 12 are closed by the dampers 15, 16 upob ventilating only.
